Marsha Rae O'Leary

Marsha Rae (Hallack) O'Leary, 71, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025.

She was born June 15, 1954, in Belleville, Kansas, the daughter of Curtis and Libby (Popelka) Hallack. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1972.

Marsha was employed by Shawnee County for 28 years, until retiring.

She was preceded in death by her son, Travis O’Leary; parents, Curtis and Libby Hallack; sister, Margaret Horne; niece, Jennifer Hallack; and ex-husband, Ronald O’Leary.

Survivors include brother, Ronald (Pete) Hallack; sister, Donna (Ron) Goodwin; nephews, Bill Hallack and Ryan Goodwin; nieces, Christie Martinez, Nikki Stricker and Amanda Rush; and aunts, great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Marsha’s wishes were for cremation. A private memorial service for Marsha and Travis will be held at a later date in Warsaw, MO.
