Nancy L. Pittenger, 84, Topeka, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at a local hospital.
Nancy was born June 18, 1931 in Marysville, the daughter of Sanford and Vera (Vaughn) Tunison. She graduated from Marysville High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Emporia State University.
Nancy was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Knute and wife Diane, Baldwin City, KS, Sandy and wife Pam, Wake Forrest, NC; grandchildren, Scott, Brandon, Brock, Brett, Jake and Kasey; four great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Breeding and Sandra Yarber; and her dear friend, Maxine Crawford.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Her final resting place will be in the Beattie Union Cemetery.
