Patricia Ann Shields

Patricia Ann Shields, 90, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026.

She was born March 21, 1936, in Marysville, Kansas, the daughter of Francis and Donna (Potter) Tommer. She graduated High School from Hayden.

Pat, alongside her husband Jack, were founding members of Christ the King Church.

Patricia married John "Jack" M. Shields on August 13, 1955 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2020. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and her sons Paul and Jim Shields.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Nace; and grandchildren Scott, Becky, and Chris Shields.

Pat had a green thumb, and loved gardening. She also enjoyed playing cards with family; her favorite games being Pitch and Canasta.

Cremation is planned. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
