Peter William Vincent

Peter William Vincent, 12, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 after a 14-month battle with Pre B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL Leukemia).

He was born May 29, 2012, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ryan and Melissa Vincent. He was a seventh grader at Shawnee Heights Middle School.

Peter was so much bigger than cancer: cellist, master of the Rubik’s Cube, Yelp restaurant reviewer, Boy Scout, KC Chiefs fan, cat cuddler, dog lover, basketball player, Wordle master, Fortnite sweat, sports commentator, traveler, picnicker, chess player, jokester, philosopher, sayer of witty things, dreamer….

Son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend... Peter was so many things.

Survivors include his parents, Ryan and Melissa Vincent and brother, Carter Vincent, of Tecumseh, KS; his grandparents, Tim and Sharon Wiedmaier and Jerry and Theresa Vincent; Uncles and Aunts: Paul & Stacie Vincent; Dustin & Katie Schirer; and much-loved cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at Berryton United Methodist Church, 7010 SE Berryton Rd, Berryton, KS 66409.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the church. The family encourages everyone attending to wear their favorite K.C. Chiefs attire in honor of Peter. 

Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Berryton, Kansas.

Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
