Becky Smith

Rebecca Sue (Becky) Smith, 75, passed away peacefully at home on December 31st, 2024, after a long, hard-fought battle with Dementia.

Rebecca was born May 30, 1949, in Topeka, Ks, to Robert N. and Mary M. (Cowger) Kirk. She graduated from Roosevelt Jr. High and Topeka High School. She was married in June 1968, to her husband, Richard L. (Dick) Smith they were married for 56 years. 

She served as Office Manager  for Kirk and Cobb Realtors for over 30 years.

She enjoyed family trips to Colorado each summer and visiting the Ozarks in the Fall, celebrating holidays, and outings to the local coffee shop.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Dick, son, Troy of Topeka, daughter, Traci of Topeka, two grandchildren, Sailor and Nicholas McDonald of Topeka, and her brother Steve (JoAnn) Kirk of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sherri of Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Helping Hands Human Society Inc. of Topeka.

Rebecca will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery.
