Robert Neal "Brother Bob" Pollom, 74, of Tecumseh, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Stormont Vail Hospital after a brief illness.
Bob was born on October 10, 1951, in Topeka, the son of Robert M. and Virginia L. (Worthington) Pollom. He attended Shawnee Heights High School and built a career in sales at Hill and Co. Inc. Electrical Supply. Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed betting on most everything (especially the "ponies"), attending family gatherings, taking care of the lawn, cleaning the kids out of their Christmas money at the family blackjack table, and eating a good steak.
Bob was a member of the Church of Christ in Stull, Kansas.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Ronald G. Pollom.
Bob is survived by his siblings Lee Ann (Jerry) Froelich, and Donald E. Pollom (Debbie); daughters, Amanda Stone and Brenda Malloy (John); grandchildren Adia and Ace Stone, Gannon and Eleanor Malloy; eight nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, and a cat named Herbie, who loves only Bob and hisses at anyone who is not Bob.
Friends and family are invited to the Pizza Parlor at 1401 NE Seward Ave. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. for an informal gathering and celebration of life. Private Inurnment will be at Eastview Cemetery in Big Springs, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stormont-Vail Foundation, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66604 to show appreciation for the wonderful care Bob received in his final weeks on earth.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
