Roger Keith McPeak, a dedicated lifelong printer and a member of the printing union, passed away on July 16, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on March 10, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, he grew up in Overland Park Kansas.

Roger was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving his country in Aviation Electronics for the United States Navy. His service shaped his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, qualities that he carried into his professional career. Throughout his life, he took immense pleasure in his work and cherished the friendships he formed with his colleagues in KCMO.

A hard-working individual, Roger had a personality that drew people in, always seeking to enjoy the company of friends and share fond memories with those around him. His love for life extended beyond his career; he was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, hunting, boating at Melvern Lake, and golfing. He was also associated with the VFW 1650 in Topeka.

Roger's family was the pride of his life. He is mourned by his loving wife, Carol Lynn McPeak, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter Tiffany (Doug) Short and son Michael McPeak. His legacy will live on through his grandchildren: Zachary (Jamie) Short, Sarah Short, Tristan McPeak, Ryder McPeak and devoted dog Becky.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth McPeak. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments in his career and his service but for the love and devotion he showed to his family. Roger's spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. His contributions to both his profession and his family will not be forgotten.

Roger wished to be cremated and he will be buried at the National Cemetery at a later date. 

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Helping Hands Humane Society.
