Russell Wayne Schaefer, 75, of Clay Center, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019.
He was born October 22, 1944, in Harvey, North Dakota, the son of Henry J. and Edna (Lillehoff) Schaefer. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School, Lakeview, California. He served in the Army during Vietnam War, stationed in Germany.
Survivors include his brother and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
