Ruth E. Davidson, 86, Topeka, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004 at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born July 11, 1918 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Harry S. and Margaret Turley Jenks. She graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary, Indiana, and had lived in Gary until coming to Topeka about 15 years ago.
Mrs. Davidson worked as a statistical clerk for US Steel for 38 years.
Her husband, Robert Roy Davidson, Jr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sister, Pearl B. Hardy, her niece, Karen Crawford and husband, Greg, Topeka, her great-niece, Jennifer Crawford, and her great-nephew, Matthew Crawford, all of Topeka.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
