Sharon Marie Crouch, 80, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She was born August 11, 1944, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Emery and Mary (Etzel) Thompson. She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1963.
Sharon was employed by Sears for 8 years until her second son was born. She then began part time as a Librarian at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, then the Topeka Public Library in the Bookmobile unit for about 20 years. She ended her working career with Holmes and Associates Accounting Firm as an administrative assistant.
Mrs. Crouch was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Sharon married John W. Crouch on February 4, 1967 in Big Springs, Kansas. They were later divorced. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bill Thompson.
Survivors include sons, Adam (Amy) Crouch, Jason (Jennifer) Crouch, and Erik Crouch all of Topeka; grandson, Tyler Crouch; and brother, James (Rita) Thompson of California.
Sharon enjoyed reading, baking, crossword puzzles, sewing, and caring for her family and friends.
Per her wishes, Sharon was cremated. No public services will be held.
