Summer Dawn Shea, 45, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026.
She was born July 28, 1980, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the daughter of Danny and Deborah (Fulkerson) McCraw. She graduated from Seaman High School in 1998. She attended Johnson County Community College.
Summer began working in high school and developed a wonderful work ethic at a young age. She worked her way up to the restaurant manager of On The Boarder in Topeka until she welcomed her second child.
Summer is survived by her children, Alexis Marie, Addyson Ann, and Austyn Beth Shea; mother, Deborah Fulkerson; father, Danny McCraw; sister, Sarah McCraw; brother, Steven McCraw; nephews, Jayden, Elijah, and Carter McCraw; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Summer was a bright spirit who loved to let her light shine through her hairstyles, makeup, and especially her jewelry. She enjoyed country music and dancing away the night. Her creativity extended beyond her looks, she was active in yearbook in high school and was a talented writer. She stayed active with swimming and of course loved shopping!
Summer's wishes were for cremation. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Colorado.
