**In Loving Memory of Tommy "Hollywood" Schwartz, Godspeed!**
Thomas Eugene Schwartz, aged 63, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, to the late Thomas A. and Helen Behne Schwartz. Tom’s educational journey began at Most Pure Heart of Mary Elementary School and continued through Hayden High School and Maur Hill Mount Academy in Atchison, ultimately studying at Washburn University.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy A. Schwartz. He is survived by his sister, Kathy Broxterman; three nephews; his beloved daughter, Lauren Taylor A. Schwartz, and her husband, Louie Cude; as well as his cherished granddaughters, Saige, Zoey, and Autumn.
Throughout his life, Tom embraced a variety of passions. He was self-employed and worked as an operator/owner of a luxury coach in the music industry. He transitioned to racing Top Fuel Nitro Harleys, aspiring to be the first double amputee to race down the track. Tom was an athlete at heart, enjoying baseball and football, with fond memories of his summers spent water skiing on Lake Perry and aboard the family houseboat, the Americana. His enthusiasm for speed was evident in his love for cars, boats, and riding Harleys.
His remarkable sense of humor and love for fun will be deeply missed by both family and friends. Tom’s vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
