Ursel Martha (Niedhorn) Burrow, 86, of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022.
She was born February 19, 1936, in Spandau, Germany, the daughter of Richard and Margarete (Bethke) Niedhorn.
Ursel graduated from high school and furthered her education receiving her Secretarial Degree.
Mrs. Burrow was a member of Wanamaker Baptist Church in Topeka and volunteered at Stormont Vail Hospital.
Ursel married Jimmie Cecil Burrow on December 20, 1955 in Nellingen, German. He preceded her preceded her in death on January 16, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela (Scott) Sage of Topeka; her son, Timothy Burrow of Silver Spring, Maryland; two, grandchildren, Rebecca (Joe Jaworski) Sage of Rossville and Tyler (Brittany Hardenberger) Sage of Topeka; a great-grandchild, Charlee Jaworski of Rossville and one brother, Walter (Martha) Niedhorn and his family of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ursel had a knack for baking and loved her coffee time. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Ursel would knit garments for babies and give them away.
Honoring Ursel's request, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Ursel's Life will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 2119 SW Village Rd., Topeka, KS 66614.
