Wanda Lou Sisco, 89, of Berryton, Kansas, passed away peacefully Friday, July 3, 2026.

She was born April 3, 1937, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Wallace DeSilvio and Reland Helen (Pfost) McPherson. She attended Carbondale High School.

Wanda was employed by Jostens Printing and Publishing company for 38 years, retiring in 2008.

Wanda married Freddy Gene Bussard in 1954. They were married for 25 years and together had five children. They divorced in 1979. She later married Roger Sisco, and he passed June 30, 1991.

Survivors include her children Debra Welch; Wanda (Dave) Weltzin; Freddie Bussard; David Bussard; Kathy (Bob) Rohrbach; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Lorene Sprouse, Dorles Hillis, Wallace "Mac" McPherson, Virgil McPherson, Raymond McPherson, Duane McPherson and Larry McPherson.

Wanda's entire world revolved around her love for her family. She also loved watching KU Basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. Wanda found her greatest peace at home, filled with warmth, comfort, lasting memories, and where the beauty of nature surrounded her. Family was always welcomed with open arms. She found joy in watching the abundant wildlife from her home, cherishing the quiet moments and the memories made with those she loved most.

Cremation is planned, and private services will be held at a later date.
