William L. "Bill" Hansen

William L. “Bill” Hansen, 66, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 30, 1959 in Nebraska, the son of Melvin and Betty (DeVore) Hansen.

Bill graduated from Fulton High School. He owned and operated his own trucking company and later was employed by Summit Material.

Bill enjoyed dirt track racing and riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed attending car shows.

Bill was preceded in death by his companion, Karen Jansen.

A private Celebration of William's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
