Willow Ann Rugerio-Corbin

Willow Ann Rugerio-Corbin, 5, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was born August 26, 2020 in Topeka, the daughter of Luis Rugerio and Lia Corbin.

Willow was a bright, magical presence in the lives of all who loved her. She moved through the world with the wonder of a fairy-full of joy, imagination, and a light that made hearts dance. Her spirit shimmered with golden and purple hues, a little dreamer who brought beauty and laughter wherever she went. To her family, she was their “Lillow,” a gift of a lifetime. Forever sail the sea my little Moana.

Survivors include her father, Luis "Daddy Maui" Rugerio of Topeka, her sister, Emy Rugerio-Corbin, her maternal grandfather, Timothy (Donna) Corbin, her paternal grandfather, Wendell Holmes, her greatest aunt Creisha, and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

A Private Celebration of Willow's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
