Yvonne Hobson, born on May 25, 1958, in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away peacefully in Topeka, Kansas, on June 23, 2025. Yvonne was a loving and devoted mother, whose life was characterized by her unwavering care for those around her.
Growing up, Yvonne displayed her adventurous spirit early on; she loved performing with horses as a child in Scotland before moving to the United States at the tender age of six. This journey set the stage for a life dedicated to family and nurturing.
Yvonne's passion became vividly apparent during the holiday season, particularly at Christmas. She delighted in decorating the home, assembling stockings for each member of her family to hang with joy, and ensuring that everyone received a thoughtful gift. Her kindness resonated deeply within her family, creating cherished memories filled with warmth and love.
Throughout her life, Yvonne embraced a variety of hobbies and interests. She found joy in Pokémon Go, enjoyed crafting, appreciated the art of shopping, and relished in reading. Her engaging personality, always marked by kindness, made an impact on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Yvonne’s proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She is survived by her sons, Sean (Kirsten) Hobson, Ian (Desiree) Hobson, Brian Hobson, and Allen (Jamie) Hobson, along with her daughter, Sara (Jose) Narvaez. She leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren: Haley Hobson, Liam Hobson, Jaymee Coalson, Sophia Hobson, Braelyn Coalson, Oliver Hobson, Mia Hobson, Hunter Hobson, Aiden Hobson, Emily Hobson, Colton Hobson, Peyton Hobson and Matthew Hobson, as well as her sister, Pamela Dale, and sister Karen (Steve) Clark.
Yvonne was predeceased by her beloved mother, Sarah "Sally" Wilson. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and the profound love she shared will continue to inspire her family and friends for years to come.
