Joy Lynn (Price) Buskirk, 68, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Joy was born January 9, 1950, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Nina Lamoyne (Zumwalt) Price. She was a 1968 graduate of Highland Park High School.
Joy was employed as a secretary at the Crime Victims Compensation Board, and as a cook at both the Prairie Band Potawatomi Head Start Program and at the Prairie Band Potawatomi Casino.
Joy married Gary Buskirk and they had 4 children, Ella, Caine, Lahoma and Fawn. They were divorced. She later married Roy Pahmamie.
Survivors include three children, Ella, Caine, and Fawn, 14 grandchildren (Ella) Crystal, Kira, Noah, Amber, (Caine) Keith, Karie, Albert, Chase, Malarie (Fawn) Dylan, Triston, Grace, Trista, and Devin. Numerous great grandchildren; and sisters, Gay Wilcox, June Levier and Pam Price.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pahmamie, daughter Lahoma, and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. Private inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
