Norma was employed by Sears at the White Lakes Mall for several years. She attended Grace United Methodist Church.
Norma married Glen Jones on February 24, 1939 in Council Grove, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Jones in 1981, one daughter, Glenetta Davis in 2003, one grandson, Charles Jones and her siblings, Ocia Washburn, Neva Mathieu and Mack Karnes.
Survivors include their children, Judy Purdum of Topeka, Ray Jones of Clarksville, Tennessee, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Senate Suites, 900 SW Tyler St. in Topeka. Private inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Norma J. Jones Memorial Fund c/o Dove Southeast Chapel.
