Maxine E. “Mac” Clark, 62, Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Midland Hospice House.

Maxine was born June 2, 1956 in Topeka, the daughter of Noah and Alice V. (Flowers) Clark. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1980.

She was employed by Hallmark Cards for 13 years.

Maxine married Jerry Higgs and later divorced. Survivors include her sons, Jerry Higgs, Jason Clark; granddaughters, Mya and Destiny Higgs, Lea Jones; sisters, Sharon Sweet, Mary Tucker, Kathy Clark, all of Topeka; and brothers, John Clark, Meriden, and Robert Clark, Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Freddie and Eddie Clark.

Cremation has taken place and services are pending.
