Angela K. McCain, 47, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

She was born June 11, 1971, in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Linden "Lin" and Linda (Smith) Simmonds.

She worked as a Press Operator for Hallmark Cards for 24 years. She started work at the Topeka plant and was later transferred to the plant in Lawrence.

In her younger years, she played softball with her Dad as her coach. As the years went on, her love for softball continued as she loved to watch any and all college softball. She had an unconditional love for tacos and loved to dine at Tortilla Jacks. She liked playing Bunko in her spare time and was known for her fun and loving sense of humor. Above all else, she had an unconditional love for her children and her entire family.

She married William “Grady” McCain, they later divorced. Survivors include a son, Tyler Ingram and daughters, Gracie McCain and Sierra McCain; sister, Lei (Daran) Barraclough; nephews, Cody Barraclough and Kaleb Barraclough. She was preceded in death by her father, Linden "Lin" R. Simmonds who passed away on August 30, 2013.

Private inurnment will take place at Topeka Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Angel McCain Memorial Fund c/o Kaw Valley Bank, Topeka.
