Colton M. Uzzell, 23, of Topeka, KS, passed at his home on March 19, 2021 due to complications of Prader-Willi Syndrome.

He was born February 6, 1998 in Kansas City, KS.

He attended Tonganoxie School District growing up, graduating from Lawrence Free State High School in 2016. After graduation, Colton completed the Community Transition Program (CTRAN) in Lawrence, KS in 2019.

He attended church services at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Topeka. He participated in Special Olympics, was an avid book reader, Nintendo DS game player, Nerf Gun Wars and Side-Walk Chalk writing with his brothers and sister.

He was in the process to become a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Topeka. He enjoyed church services on Sunday mornings. Colton was obsessed with Harry Potter and loved the Gryffindor House. He had just recently returned from a family vacation visiting Graceland (a lifelong dream,) New Orleans Villa Lobos Pet Rescue (Pit bulls and Parolees TV Show) volunteering to walk the Pit bulls at the Rescue one of the evenings, he visited sites in New Orleans where he purchased a book about New Orleans Voodoo magic which he was currently reading.

Colton is survived by his parents Michael and Lyndsee McLin of Topeka, KS; his brothers, Quentin Uzzell, Aiden McLin and sister, Carys McLin all of Topeka, KS; maternal grandparents, Gary and Susan Rutledge of Tonganoxie, KS; paternal grandparents, Mary and Marshall McLin of Silver Lake, KS; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his three fur babies, Turbo, Penny and Coco.

Dove Cremations and Funerals - Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610 is assisting the family.
