Richard M. Reser, 77, a long time Topeka resident, went to meet his maker on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Richard was born in Topeka on March 30, 1944 and raised in Silver Lake. He was the younger son of M. Ben Reser and Christine Stich, who precede him.
Richard met the love of his life, Dale Anne, while working together at Sears in Topeka. They were married June 29, 1974. They had one son, Ben (Carla) Reser of North Bend, WA. His wife and son survive him. He was preceded by his elder brother, William J. “Bill” Reser.
Richard worked in heating and air conditioning until health issues forced him to retire in 1989.
Richard was cremated. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, August 28 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
