Stephen Evertson, 77, of Topeka, Kansas, Passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Steve was born December 3, 1944, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Eleanor and Merlin Evertson and Harry Kirk Jr. He attended Topeka High School and Washburn University. Steve served his country with the United States Navy aboard the USS Constellation. He married Stella Evertson in Hong Kong in 1968 and divorced in 2006. Steve worked at the warehouse at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Topeka when he retired.
Steve is survived by his children, Rosella McCallister and Melissa Evertson; grandsons, Stephen Byttner and Cameron McCallister; and siblings, Leigh Anne Kirk, and Bradley Evertson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Evertson.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at Dove Cremation and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
